Who I am
Essentials:
Name: Emily Pearson
Birthday: 8th of June 1987
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
My Story and Family:
History: Emily was born in New York to British parents, shortly after she was born however her parents returned to their hometown of London. They lived very busy lifestyles and often their time with their young daughter was very little, she knew they loved her however, although during her time growing up, she had of course gone through the usual rebellions. She had an older half brother, her mother's from a previous marriage, who she had been close with despite their seperate families, but on his 18th birthday, he told her a secret, a secret which she has never told anyone. On that night, he left London and told no one where he was going. She hasn't seen him since.
After Emily had finished her time at University, she had left her hometown to try and find her brother, she had tried to contact as many friends of his as she could and eventually found someone who claimed to know how to find him. He told her that he would help find him if he could, and during a ride on his boat, she had heard odd sounds on the wind. She had leant over the side of the boat, but was pushed overboard..
How you arrived on the island: After being pushed from the boat, she awoke to find herself on the mysterious island.
Family Members: A half brother and her parents.
A bit more about me:
Picture:
Celebrity: Amelia Warner
Physical Description: Long dark hair, dark eyes, quite tall and slim.
Personality: Quirky and intelligent, she has a good sense of humour but very often can have two very different sides to her. To most people she will sometimes seem cold and distant, she seems to dislike allowing others to get close enough to see the "real" her, perhaps even she doesn't know just who the real Emily is yet.
Interests: She enjoys photography and art, and like most girls, she enjoyed shopping and going out with her friends. She had a very lively lifestyle before she arrived at the island, she had many friends, attended parties almost every night and enjoyed her life very much.
Dislikes: Being patronised, feeling alone, boredom and insects.
Fears: Being completely alone, never seeing the people she cares about again, small spaces, heights, and sometimes herself.
Sample of your RP style: Emily was sitting upon the deck of the small boat, her odd companion had not yet told her anything of what he claimed to know about the disappearence of her brother, he had merely stated that when they had reached their destination, she would know what had happened to him. She watched him in silence, he had his back facing towards her and appeared to be reading some kind of map that he would not allow her to see. He was a very greasy looking man, dirty and with an unpleasant smell, he grunted and mumbled to himself whilst tracing his hands over the tatty map, caressing it like it was an old and cherished friend. She really did not like him at all, he gave her the creepiest feeling, but if he helped her find her brother, that was all that mattered to her.
After a few moments, she sighed impatiently and closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the seat. The wind was cold and harsh against her skin, the sun shone down upon her, taunting her with it's false appearence of warmth. Just as she was about to ask what exactly they were supposed to be looking for, an odd sound reached her ears, it sounded like a voice, but not quite.. it was half formed, like a whisper into a pillow. Her eyes snapped open and she looked around anxiously, "Did you hear that?!" She demanded, looking towards her greasy companion. He did not reply, but was no longer gazing at his map, instead he was now looking out to sea, silent and motionless. She stood and walked towards him, "I said, did you hear that? I heard someone talking!" She snapped, grabbing his shoulder in an attempt to spin him towards her. He did not move, did not respond, in fact it was almost as though he couldn't hear her. Growling angrily to herself, she walked towards the side of the boat, mumbling with frustration. She knew that she had heard something, but what? Just as she tried to ponder this odd event, she felt a pressure on her back, and before she could react, she felt herself falling away from the boat, the waves crashed into her face and in a flash of a second, all she saw was darkness.
