My Story and Family:
History:
Abigail was born to a family that didn't much follow the rules of what women should and shouldn't do. Ignoring what was proper for what needed done. She was allowed to run around in britches and a shirt when busy doing work to help out, or just playing in the yard. She was a happy child, content with all the simple things in life though her family had enough money to dote upon her if they so choosed, things she wanted she could get, but she didn't want much.
Her father owned a logging company, selling to many buisnesses, and people making homes for themselves in their small village or in areas outside of it. He made what some would consider to be a rich amount, though the family didn't ever think of the amount he made because it wasn't important.
Her mother stayed home and kept the house, gardens, and family in order. She'd clean and cook and Abby admired her for her ability to always be able to sort out any situation quickly and with a level head. It was a quality she passed onto her daughter and not the last. Her mother was gifted in the gardens, able to mean near anything grow almost anywhere if given the chance to think how to best accomplish the goal. The two would spend hours working in their home garden, growing flowers as well as veg.
Abby's grew up sure of herself and proud of who she was, but she had a secret she didn't even tell her beloved mother. She liked women as well as men, it was something she thought made her dirty and improper. So she kept it to herself, hiding her emotions and feelings for most of her life ashamed of them.
A week after Abby's 18th birthday her mother made a trip to england, to visit with family and see the newest addition to the family, her sisters new child. Abby recieved word from england saying her mother had fallen ill, and with her father's blessing she set out to go to her mother's side to aid her through the illness and back to health.
Their ship, the Isadora, was blown off course and unknowing to it's passengers the captain had accepted a bribe to carry a load of amunition and rum from her home land to England. As she heard the captain and crew speak about being off course and not knowing where they were she began to worry, fearing she'd never see her family again...and she was correct in her fears.
A drunken member of the crew accidentally set off the amunition one night when sneaking below deck to take some of the rum for himself. Blowing the whole ship appart, and the sleeping passengers were killed, only one survived the horrible incident, Abby.
She had been standing on deck looking to the night sky when the explosion occurred, throwing the girl overboard, and burning her back badly. She washed up on the shores of the island, where the crew and passengers of another ship, the Hindlea, had found themselves. They took her from the sand and treated her wounds, nursing the poor girl back to health though she would be scarred for life.
When she was well enough, she began helping them build and gather food, making a life for themselves on the island they were now calling home. She's been there as all of the 5 other ships arrived also, helping them adjust to their new life on the island, with the ships anchored around as their only escape from the small bit of land.
She may still only look 18, but she has the wisdome of the years she's spent on the island, and is a member of the Archos or the three main leaders of the island. Her voice has become one of reason, and she is often turned to to solve problems that arrise on their island and ship, home. She's taken control of the gardens, making sure they produce food and healing plants, and when she was sure there were people who could handle them as well as she, she stepped back and let them take it over for the most part, only supervising the gardens as she helps deal with other issues of the islands.
She's very level headed, taking her responsibilites seriously and thinking through things clearly before passing judgment. She is always around on the island helping with what she can, and getting into mischief just as any 18 year old would...

A bit more about me:
Picture:
Celebrity:
Kiera Knightly
Physical Description:
Abby is small looking, thin and doesn't appear too strong, but you'd be wrong about that. She's no weakling, able to handle any work a man could accomplish. She changes her hair whenever she feels like, or when she's inspired by a new object that washes up on shore, such as a magizine or anything. She has what some would call and angelic look, belieing her true fast thinking mind, and at times wicked ideas. Her eyes are a deep rich brown and she does not often let you see into her soul through them, those that she allowes close enough to know her heart are rare and few.
Personality:
Abby has changed through the many years she's spent on the island. She has come to realize that she need not be ashamed of who she is, and those she choses to love.
She's at times quiet, but mostly friendly and outgoing. She is quite wise but isn't one of those people who shows it every second. She is the one who'll stand there while you discuss, taking everything in and then giving her opinnion on the whole situation.
She makes friends easily, and is one of those people who won't stab her friends in the back. She'll stick by them though anything. But she doesn't easily give away her heart, love is something she holds close to her and thinks is important.
Interests:
Swimming
Gardening
Boys
Girls
Reading
Learning things about the world outside of the one they are in
Dancing
Studying the stars
and many other things, she get's new interests every day...
Dislikes:
People who come onto the island and try to ruin the peace they have
Spiders
Snakes
Moths/Butterflies
and a few other things.
Fears:
Being lost into the waters and dieing
Fire (She is terrified of fire because of the explosion, she'd rather walk in the dark, than pick up a candle)
Never finding love no matter how many years she lives
Sample of your RP style:
Art laughed and nodded, "Sounds good to me mate." he said and looked out to sea.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About a month after starting their chase of the devils dubloon the bleeding rose almost caught her, only to run into a horrible storm. They were thrown off course by the heavy rains. Aboard the dutchman life was as usual, with Callista settling into the routien easily. The second month was spent searching for Scythe and his ship much to Wills anger, as they kept missing it. The crew of the bleeding rose were starting to get restless and so they took a bit of pirating well at the captains orders as they were running low on supplies. Callista was starting to feel a little odd and realized she was gaining a little weight so she cut back a bit on her food and worked a bit harder. The third month brought depression to the young captain of the rose, he was gaining on the dubloon, but not fast enough for his likeing. Aboard the dutchman Callista was ordered to bed rest as she was ill, Elizabeth watching her carefully and an idea of what her illness came to mind, by the beginning of month four, she'd ordered her husband to get close enough to port to send a ship to shore with herself and her son's love, they were to visit a doctor. The news from the doctor brought shock to the young woman, she was carrying a child...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Callista stood aboard the dutchman looking out to see, the dutchman was above water and sailing peacefully. She felt better than the sickness she'd been feeling for the past months. She had one hand on her still small but starting to 'bump' stomach. She wondered where Will was and if he was close to finding Scythe. She worried how she was going to tell him, and hoped it was before the child was actually born.
William came from talking to his wife and smiled at the woman standing at the front of the ship. He walked up to her and gently touched her arm to get her attention and met her wise blue eyes as she turned to look at him. "Hello Callista, how are you today?" he asked removing his hand.
Callista smiled and nodded looking back out over the water, "I am well as can be..." she said softly. The captain coming to talk to her wasn't an unusual thing, they'd talked often.
William nodded and lent on the rail, "Elizabeth and I have a present for you, as a kind of congratulations." he said with a grin as Callista turned to look at him once more. "We are making a trip to see Will, so you can tell him the happy news, same deal as last time...one night." he said with a shrug, "It's not much, but it's all we can do for now. And if he hasn't caught Scythe before you have the child, we'll bring a doctor on board and will get Will when you're having the baby." he looked out over the water himself. "You will have a crib in your room if it's necessairy and we'll make arrangements for when we have to travel between worlds to keep you and the child safe."
Callista smiled and hugged him as tears came to her eyes, "Thank you, thank you so much." she said happily.
Will hugged her back and nodded motioning to Elizabeth to give the orders and they were on their way to find his son.
